This past week I was in the mood for some french toast. To satisfy my cravings I wanted to spice it up a bit. Instead of a classic french toast with syrup we switched it up with a delicious raspberry preserve that brings out all the flavors. Old traditional preserves are a delicacy of the past from a time before corn syrup. This delicious breakfast treat is not only delicious but healthy for you as well as it includes fresh fruit.
The cook time for this recipe is about 20 minutes from prep to finish. Make sure you make your raspberry preserves in separate pan. Add a scoop of your preserve on top of your french toast when its done and enjoy.
