Who doesn't enjoy a warm bowl of soup when its snowing. The other week during a snow storm I needed just a little extra to keep warm for the day and a bowl of Garlic soup was perfect. It not only gives you a punch of garlic but a warm touch to keep you energized.

Base
6 cups water
1 bay leaf
2 sage leaves
3/4 teaspoon thyme
a dozen cloves of garlic, smashed, peeled, and chopped (1/4 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
Binding pommade:
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
1 ounce Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
