Bibimbap



Bibimbap is a colorful and delicious Korean rice bowl that translates to mixed rice. It's a feast for the eyes and the senses. Bibimbap starts with a bed of warm white rice, topped with an assortment of vibrantly seasoned and cooked vegetables and meats. A sunny-side up egg sits proudly on top, and the whole dish is finished with a dollop of spicy gochujang sauce. This meal is not just one of the most eye catching things you'll try but it takes your mouth on a trip through the flavors. The combination of spice, sweet and meat make for an amazing dish to show of to your friends.


Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber

  • ½ teaspoon rice vinegar

  • 1¼ teaspoons sesame oil

  • 1 cup fresh mung bean sprouts

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 4 cups baby spinach

  • ½ teaspoon tamari

  • 2 cups cooked short-grain white rice

  • 2 fried eggs

  • 4 ounces sautéed shiitake mushrooms,

  • 1 recipe Gochujang sauce

  • Sesame seeds

  • Sea salt

  • Kimchi
