Hey all and welcome to my food blog. I'm Ian and I grew up in the Bay Area in California where I developed a very unique palate at a young age. Growing up I enjoyed all types of food from Seafood, Ethnic, and many other varieties of food. Being a melting pot of culture the Bay Area breeds some of the best chefs as flavors and cultures combine in the kitchen. My exposure to amazing food at a young age pushed me to create my own masterpieces in the kitchen where I have continued to do so today. 

 

The Colorado Open Stove is a collection of some of my favorite meals that myself and friends have made through our time living together in college. Cooking is all about sharing the love and that means sharing recipes (not the secret ones), flavors, spices, and good times with friends around the table. Here on my page I will document the cooking process along with the great times that come along with meals. While sharing good times I will also share some tips and tricks on how to create some of my favorite meals so that you can enjoy them as well.
